JOY ORGANICS REVIEW
Have you been looking to buy CBD from a local family owned business with high standards?
Joy Smith, is a wife, mom, grandmother and Founder of Joy’s Organics. Joy dealt with chronic pain and trouble sleeping, which inspired her to start her CBD company. After trying the top seven CBD brands on the market, she found that only one actually gave her the relief she was looking for. What stands out about Joy’s quality control process? We’ll get to that in a minute.
Joy’s long term goal is to help as many people as she can. In the meantime, her mission for Joy’s Organics is…
To help people by creating the most pure, organic and bioavailable full spectrum cannabinoid products on the market, all at a price people can afford. I think you’ll agree with me when I say that this is a hefty ask. Let’s examine what this means in detail.
Joy’s CBD products are labeled as pharmaceutical grade. This means that the company’s products are produced following the strictest guidelines and quality control measures. So what exactly are these quality control measures?
Joy has a seven step process for producing the highest quality CBD.
These Critical Steps Increase your Health
Step one: organic farming. True to the name, Joy Organics uses hemp grown in Colorado in nutrient-rich soil using only 100% organic practices. The strains of hemp are natural and proprietary to Joy’s Organics.
Step two and three: processing and extracting. The hemp is then processed using a proprietary extraction process that uses food grade ethanol to preserve the cannabinoids and terpenes, creating a full spectrum oil. Joy’s website states that each drop of phytocannabinoid rich hemp oil contains 112 cannabinoids including a variety or terpenes and flavonoids.
Step four and five: distillation, THC removal, and refining. The oil is processed to remove the ethanol, THC, wax, chlorophyll, and plant pigments creating a polished full-spectrum CBD oil. Because Joy’s products are non-THC, she ships across state lines and to most countries around the world.
What’s the last part?
Step six and seven: lab testing and nano emulsion. The oil then undergoes rigorous in house testing for potency and purity. Joy has a third party lab review the results monthly to make sure everything is accurate. Specific products in her line require the extra step of processing through nano emulsion technology to break the oil into even smaller bits, making it some of the most bioavailable in the industry.
Here’s The Deal on Signature Tinctures
Joy’s Organics makes a classic tincture that comes in one ounce bottles with 250, 500, 1,000, or 1,500 mg of CBD. There are four flavors to choose from — natural, orange, lemon, and tranquil mint. Depending on which flavor you choose, this phytocannabinoid rich tincture is made with Medium Chain Triglycerides (MCT) and/or Hemp Seed Oil and/or Grape Seed Oil, Orange Oil or Lemon Oil or Peppermint Oil. The tranquil mint tastes great.
If tinctures aren’t your thing, Joy Organics makes CBD softgels that come in a conveniently small bottle so it can easily be taken on the go. Joy’s softgels are non-GMO and each softgel contains 10 mg of CBD. The softgels themselves are small, just like a vitamin supplement, making them easy to swallow and incorporate into your routine.
It gets even better..
Do you use CBD to sleep? Joy Organics makes CBD softgels with melatonin. This bottle is more expensive than the regular CBD softgels, but if you have trouble sleeping, it may be worth the try.
Have you heard of turmeric? Turmeric is a plant and the main ingredient, curcumin, is touted for its anti-inflammatory and pain relieving benefits. Joy’s also makes CBD softgels with curcumin. Both the CBD with melatonin and CBD with curcumin are sold in one dosage — 25 mg of CBD per softgel. These higher dose products are perfect for those really looking for help sleeping or relieving pain. We appreciate these twists on your typical CBD products.
Easily To Understand Lab Results
As we mentioned, Joy lab tests her products in house during her sixth step of the manufacturing process. She tests for purity and potency and even does a terpene analysis. The results are posted online in an easy to read format. While we do generally think it’s best to have a third party lab test products, we do appreciate the easy to read format. Joy’s Organics does state that they have a third party lab cross-check their results monthly and this is a welcome measure.
Body Products… In Different Strengths
Joy also makes a pharmaceutical grade salve that can be bought in three different potencies (500, 1,000, or 2,000 mg CBD). We generally only see companies make a salve in one strength, so it’s great that Joy’s has options. The salve is made with beeswax, medium chain triglycerides, lavender essential oil, and eucalyptus essential oil. This salve is simple, effective, and smells pleasant. It’s not overbearing like many of the cooling salves on the market.
Joy Organics is also coming out with a full spectrum vape pen, coming soon.
What about the dogs?
It seems that every CBD company is making dog products these days and Joy Organics is no exception. Joy’s makes CBD dog treats with 2 mg of CBD per treat and a CBD tincture for pets that’s good for both your cat and dog.
Joy’s Organics offers a 30 day money back satisfaction guarantee. The company even states on their website, “if you are not achieving your desired results, feel free to use the entire bottle before asking for a return.” We’ve never seen that before!
So what stands out about Joy’s quality control process?
Joy implements quality control from the very beginning, using Colorado grown organic hemp and processing her products in Colorado facilities. Not only does Joy start with clean, local hemp, but she lab tests her products for purity and potency and even conducts a terpene analysis. Joy posts these results online for customers to view in an easy to read format. Even better, Joy has a third party lab audit her results to make sure they’re accurate.
